Alliance to End Homelessness
Progress Report
Since 2005, the Alliance to End Homelessness has produced an annual Progress Report on ending homelessness in Ottawa. The report assesses the community’s progress in ending homelessness by comparing annual change in a number of areas, including: the number of persons using emergency shelters, the average length of shelter stay, housing affordability and the number of new affordable housing options created.
For the design we used bold colours and iconography to visualize the information in a precise and easily understandable way. As the reader advances through the report, the tone of the images becomes more optimistic to show how the programs in place are improving things for the homeless in Ottawa.
